Truly amazing caterer! We chose a slightly unconventional menu for our wedding and we are so glad that the chef was also excited about it! Everyone kept asking us who the caterer was and said this was one of the best food they had at any wedding. The team was highly professional and knew all our guests menu choices which was impressive! Despite our table plan not being super clear haha. They also helped assembled our wedding cake which was a huge plus! We are super impressed and greatly appreciative of the team’s effort to make our wedding perfect! Can’t recommend it enough!

We had our wedding at The Normans in October this year, with The Hog & Apple as caterers. Doug and his team have been amazing to work with from the outset - they are so user friendly and great at communicating. The decisions about the food/drink and the lead up to the wedding were made stress-free thanks to the impeccable organisation and effort from The Hog & Apple team. Nothing was too much trouble and Doug listened to our vision and worked with us to create an incredible menu and bespoke drinks package for our big day. Everything ran like clockwork on the day and they were so thoughtful, even saving the bride and groom our own canapés! The whole team were friendly and professional and we couldn't have asked for anything more. The food was absolutely delicious and so many of our guests commented that it was some of the best food they had ever had, let alone best wedding food! Thank you so much Doug and The Hog & Apple team!

Hog & Apple catered our wedding at The Normans a couple of weeks ago and they absolutely SMASHED it. One thing I really wanted to avoid with our caterer was the kind of 'package deals' that you see at every wedding, where you pick from menu A, B or C - H&A go above and beyond to work with you and provide exactly what you want for your day. Whatever it is, they take it in their stride and make it happen. We had a 3 course meal with sharing board starter, 2 options for main and the most incredible dessert table I've ever seen. Their prices are incredibly reasonable for the high level of service that they provide and I genuinely cannot fault them at all. The team are super friendly, really look after you on the day and just manage everything perfectly - I can't thank or recommend them enough!!

We knew when organizing our wedding that the food would be one of the most important factors to consider for ensuring that our special day would be successful. We wanted it to be a spectacle, a focal point and that’s exactly what we got. We knew if Hog and Apple were the caterers for our wedding then we were in for a treat, and they didn’t disappoint. Everyone was blown away by the quality of the food, the creativeness of the canapes and the theatrics of the dessert. The staff worked tirelessly, and we can’t be more grateful to Ged, Ollie, the 2x Abbie’s and the rest of the team for doing an amazing job. Many of our friends commented that it was the best wedding food that they had ever eaten! Thank you again for making our day so special, we will always be extremely grateful.

Hog and apple provided wedding breakfast for wedding at Ryther this week This is the second time we have had the pleasure of eating their fantastic food. It simply is the best wedding food you could hope for, all our guests were still talking about it the next day. The quality of the food is incredible it’s like eating out at a top class restaurant. And a special mention to the staff serving the food - they were a pleasure to have around, always smiling and conversing with our guests. Happy to post this review and highly recommend these caterers.

Hog & Apple catered at our wedding recently. Put simply, despite whatever else may have happened on our big day, nobody will forget how good the food was. This fact was reinforced by all of our guests in their feedback to us on the day and in the following weeks after the wedding. The starters were epic, the mains we even better. And the trio of desserts were out of this world. We started the process with H&A several months before the big day and communication was seamless and productive. It was clear to us from the outset how passionate Ged and his team are about all things food. Experimenting with new things, knowing what works and what doesn’t; this was more of an enjoyable evolution of our wedding breakfast rather than us being just another customer. Testament to this was H&A’s willingness to incorporate our own family spices into their recipe, something that they relished (no pun intended)! Suffice to say, H&A catered for 100 people on the day and the experience we all had was (literally) unforgettable. We would like to give a particular mention to Ellie who was fantastic throughout from the beginning right until the big day itself.
