Went into lymington just for a coffee with the wife and dog, came across this restaurant with the owner putting out the bistro sets, after speaking with him for a few minutes we asked if we could have a coffee knowing most places are restricted with dogs, he said if you would like to sit in the garden out the back it’s not a problem. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, amazing place all round we ended up having coffee.. to then have a glass of wine and a roast dinner lunch as the food looked and I state incredible!! Put it this way you’ve gained yourself some regulars this place is a must and have already mentioned it to friends and family Gavin and his team keep up the amazing experience!! Luke and Amy

Excellent experience, so good we came back the next night. Great menu all about showcasing the best fresh ingredients, all of our meals were delicious and well presented. The front of house team serving & taking orders were all really lovely too, good communication and very knowledgeable. Thank you, we'll be back! Recommended if you are in Lymington Vegetarian options: Lovely risotto!

We came across this place just walking past and what a fantastic discovery it turned out to be. Although the menu wasn’t as extensive as many restaurants, there was still a good breadth of choice and this was matched by the wine list. The food itself was first class: presentation, flavour and cooked to perfection. We visited on a busy Friday evening and it felt like the staff were rather stretched (5 different people served us) but despite this, it was clear their underlying principles were positive: interactions were warm and genuine. Despite wishing we could have had more attentive service, our lasting memory will be of the most enjoyable dishes we’ve had for some time and we look forward to returning again. (Apologies for the photo - I managed to take it just before my wife dived in with her spoon)
