Shared the Sunday Roast platter for which you receive generous proportions of three different meats. For two people, it is an enormous meal so, if you have only a moderate appetite, you could easily share between three. Obviously a great selling point is the location, from which you can see Edge Hill some 15 miles away and also beautiful views of the Grand Union Canal. Also they have a great range of beers, including non-alcoholic beers and ciders. Great experience so will return again some sunny day.

Actually, we just dropped in for a 'natural' break. But atmosphere was great and they were offering a 'local' brewery coronation beer. Bar staff were great about advice on it so stopped! A quick snoop out back on the beer terrace and we were surprised by the view and walks that led straight from the pub. So overall, it looked large and corporate from outside but very pleasant inside with cubby holes for privacy. We would pop in again. ++
