    I don’t often share reviews however, I thought that my experience necessitated it. I visited the Harley Street Eye Clinic on Monday, Jan 26th, 2022 for what had been classed as a routine procedure to remove a chalazion. The doctor performing the procedure did not explain the procedure as it was happening, it was incredibly painful and I would dare say a barbaric procedure. The experience from start to finish was horrific. No post Op required*** (apparently) The following day, my eye was extremely bruised and swollen, I contacted the clinic in an effort to ensure that re infection hadn’t taken place - I was told that my movement during the procedure resulted in additional bruising and it would resolved itself in 3-4days. By Thursday, my eye was extremely red and swollen with no sign of abating. I contacted Moorfields Urgent Care and was triaged immediately with need of attending their unit on City Road. Moorfields confirmed that my eye was extremely infected, the antibiotics prescribed were insufficient and I had developed cellulitis as a result. If you require eye care consult Moorfields Private or NHS services, the experience was night and day,and far more extensive.
