I have just received back my vintage Mulberry bag and can honestly say how delighted I am with the repairs. I had holes in every corner as well as the leather being dull and cracked in places. The metal detailing was tarnished and the check lining needed some attention. Well after 4-weeks it has been completely transformed and it’s like it was when my husband bought it for me 26 years ago and has been given a whole new lease of life I can’t thank Sarah and her team enough and am so grateful that they took the time to bring it back to life. It’s definitely coming out of the cupboard now x

I am SO DISAPPOINTED!!! I bought two pens from their website. They only offer one pink pen option, which they claim to match to multiple brands in "blush pink". My Michael Kors bag is their signature blush pink color. (I also bought a white pen for my other bag.) The pink WASN'T EVEN CLOSE TO MATCHING the color of my bag! The pink was MUCH brighter than the bag color, even when dried. I ended up having to get the paint from the pen off the bag, which was almost impossible and now it looks worse than before! I asked The Handbag Spa through email about returning the pen because it cost $40 USD (for ONE pen!) and they said I could send it back to them and they would investigate the color. I'm not sure what that means... I did send them pictures to prove it didn't match the bags they claim the pen would match. When I went to return the pen, it would have cost $120 just to ship the pen! Of course, I did not do that. I did inquire about getting a pre-paid box or shipping label and the company refused to cooperate with this request. Now I am stuck with a stupid pink pen that cost $40 that doesn't match anything I own. I think I'll just throw it away. What a waste of money, time, and patience! This whole ordeal took about a month and a half because they do not ship quickly, don't supply tracking info, and are slow to respond to requests... and did not give clear answers on any of my questions about the return of the pen ... but were very quick to say no about refunding the postage or supplying a prepaid box/label. I will never order from them again! *** I do see the owner comments on most of these reviews and simply argues with their former customer(s) or completely denies any wrongdoing or poor customer service. I expect them to reply with the same excuses and negligence to this review. Be aware, this is a 100% accurate review, as I have no reason to lie. I am, however, upset about my situation and how they handled it, and do not wish for anyone else to have the same experience. Isn't that why people write reviews in the first place? The owner can say whatever they want, but at the end of the day, the distasteful replies to customer reviews is even more off-putting and shameful than whatever they did in the first place to deserve the poor reviews. Completely disgusted with this company, even more so after reading the owners response to the MANY complaints filed in the Google reviews.

Exceptionally poor customer service levels. Avoid like COVID. Service is now 5 weeks overdue with no completion date provided, have to chase constantly for any update what so ever to just be told, you have to wait. Everyone understands that the pandemic has effects on business, but this company chooses not to update their customers o the service and timeframes that may be impacted. For a service you are paying double for than others provide, it's simply not good enough. Go with a smaller outfit who can provide you the quality in customer service and understand their customers.

Sent my Chanel handbag for a restoration costing £200. Unfortunately when I received my handbag back after a lengthy time, I really did not see any difference apart from it being slightly darker ( all my friends agreed ) I emailed the Handbag spa and they asked me to sent the bag back ( l would have to pay ) really could not afford to do that after spending £200 already. Very disappointed indeed.

SCAMMERS!!!! I send THBS my bag and got an email that they have it and after one month contacted them to ask when they are going to send my bag back, and was told that they don't have my bag and that they've confused it with somebody else's bag and here I started panic - it is a very expensive bag! Long story short, after a few days UK post office send my bag back, because nobody bothered to get it from there and I consider myself lucky that at least I got my bag back at the same condition, BUT they've promised to refund my order since I've never get any services from them and after my few attempts to contact them they've just stop answering my emails. Total damage: $70 for international shipping and $340 THBS pocketed with no services.

They have completely ruined my bag. The whole leather is dehydrated and torn and they blame me for it. I took pictures on the day i send it tot hem and the leather was in perfect condition. Then they make more stains and do not mention it before they send it back. The stains were not there and the leather was in perfect condition was shredded. They also dare to ask money for this too.. The moment you file a complaint, they indicate that you have done it yourself. Never send your bag here !!! Update 07-06-2019 Dear spa handbag, thanks for your response. you only forget to tell that you have asked 100 pounds for repaint the inside, and that my bag won’t Be in the original state, you have not mentioned anything that the bag was already ready for weeks. you have ignored my comment that the bag had more stains. that it had several cracks in the leather and that it was melted by heat. you should have said immediately that you could not help me instead of paying more than £ 200. then you say time after time again that it is not your fault. I have taken photos on the day of sending this can be checked at the time and date of the photos and after receiving the product. I have asked for photos several times for evidence, you ignore all my questions about it. you want to investigate it yourself this is of course very easy to say ... then I will pay for the costs again and you are supposedly not guilty. I have told you what happened with the bag before i have sent it to you. And what products have been used and sent photos so you can’t claim it on that fact. your customerservice is really really bad! How you deal with complaints or (not) compensate is outrageous

I sent an initial lot of 4 bags. The repair was just okay. The repair to a Salvatore Ferragamo was not done well at all, and I have been unable to use the bag since. I did bring the concern to their attention at the time. It took longer than they promised to complete the repair but I was patient with them. I initially contacted the company on the 16/01/2019 and on the 30/01/19 (today)to chase up on 3 other bags I sent over in April 2017 prior to receiving the first 4 bags back. I kept in touch with them (I have e-mail evidence) as I was very unwell and unable to follow up to pay for the second lot of repair to go ahead as I was in the USA undergoing treatment. I got in touch with them on my return to the UK and requested for a return of the bags. I was in total shock when I got a response today to say the company policy states they get rid of the bags after 6 months and therefore they were sorry. No attempt was made by them to notify me of their intention to dispose of my bags or return them through the dry cleaners I sent the bags via. they had all my contact details, at least my e-mil address as I had completed a repair with them in the past. One of the bags a Reed Krakoff bag I bought in Harrods, a Harlston Heritage bag I bought in Selfridges and an original Michael Kors suede and leather bag I bought in the USA. Please be extremely careful with this company and look for more trusted and safer options. A word to the wise is enough!

The Handbag Spa repaired my Ralph Lauren Sabine cognac mock croc handbag handles, which had been chewed and ruined by my little puppy. Bad dog! What a fantastic job they did - you really wouldn't know anything had ever been damaged on the bag. The handles are almost an exact match of the originals, and repaired to a far higher standard than I could ever expect. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to extend the life of a beloved piece or to rescue a lovely bag with needs stain removal, re-lining, leather enhancement, etc. Talk to them. Their claims are true.
