    I’ll never forget my first time at the Hamblin Centre, I was literally bowled over by the warm healing energy and peace I felt in the hall as I did my yoga class. I had never experienced anything like this in the London yoga studios I was used to and was over the moon with this special place that had come into my life. This is also the day I met yoga teacher Emma Owen-Smith - a kindred spirit and soul sister! Since that meeting 9 years ago we have now set up our GreenDoorGrooves business - bringing yoga, happy holistic events and retreats to our community and love to use the Hamblin Centre as our venue. The centre with it’s hall, gardens, therapy rooms and lodges makes it the perfect place to be able to hold our weekend retreats. It has a healing, magical energy which is gentle and supportive - it holds you and gives you a big Hamblin hug!

    I just love the Hamblin Centre. It is such a peaceful gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The gardens are beautiful and lovingly maintained. The staff are all wonderful and helpful. I have taught yoga here and always enjoy the energy about the place - my students report the same. I highly recommend people to visit the centre, try out one of many classes or treatments on offer, or simply just sit in the nature there!

    Delightful couple run the garden centre at Hamblin. The logs are well seasoned, from the estate, and burn much longer with greater heat output than the commercially available stuff that disappears up your chimney as soon as you light it. Fair prices too. Plants are a good deal and they make lovely planters on site. Well worth seeking out.

    Oh wow.. Far from the maddening crowd, a green countryside oasis of peace and serenity located a stones throw from the beautiful and picturesque coastal village of Bosham. Road and public transport links are also fantastic way to explore this historic coastal stretch of West Sussex if you want to stay longer. A well being retreat for the day visitor or chalet staying clients. Please go to the Hamblin Trust web site for any course information, opening times, accommodation etc as this review is but one and that of a Horticultural volunteer with no links to well being other than that of a recovering alcoholic with PTSD from the loss of a child.. So hand on heart I say,, oh Wow again.... Spiritually aligned to its core please read up on the history and foundations of this little slice of serenity.. The grounds are a seasonal feast of nature and head gardener in chaotic harmony with a new nursery in it's infancy in my short time here. Beautiful walks throughout the grounds but unfortunately the passing trains remind you society is still out there. The staff are I have to say are faultless in their helpfulness, kindness and courtesy. Wether you have a head full of ca-fuddle from city life and over working or really deep issues in life,,a visit to here may help you. Trust me on this. Open minds brings open hearts. A special place.
