Kinda quirky and compact, bet it’s jumpin’ of a summer evening, but not much space so probably best as a local rather than a destination. No cask ale either. #4 #5

It's a lovely pub, very small, with a narrow single bar and authentic city pub feel. But after the debacle at The Kenton last week when I ended up paying £7.50 for a bitter I was careful to ask for the prices of all the beers, and frankly £5.20 for an unremarkable pint of lager is excessive. A pint of craft IPA is £6.25 and there's no real ale. I don't know who can afford to regularly drink at pubs like this.
