Was lucky enough to share a delicious afternoon tea with my family at this hotel. The tea was first class, cakes fabulous and the staff absolutely lovely- very friendly and professional...just the right amount of attention!! The garden where we ate is a perfect venue- can imagine a beautiful intimate wedding or party there!! Would definitely recommend !!!

Fr9nt desk and restaurant service was terrible. Spent almost 1000 pounds and treated friends of ours Everything I delta with front desk or restaurant it was a pain 1st told me thT I couldn't have breakfast until 9 , even though I told front desk, server decided to take her time and not comeback. Evening dinner was terrible order was wrong and not served together. Looked at bill and saw we were charged with a bottle of wine we didn't have. There respo se was , from the front desk Who said sorry . That's not good enough. I thought they should have taken breakfast Off or something I went to the front desk every morning after breakfast same issue As well as the poor service for dinner as well as the additional cost that was on the check out had things we did not have. So you can stop sending me your advertising Rooms: Na rooms are good but noisy

OH DEAR, I've rated this place poorly. Why ??? On a return visit to meet family who were staying here I was shocked and saddened to see our lovely country hotel become a gaudy, brash, soul less place. The bar area is shocking pink with trashy brass bars. Tables squashed in so no private conversation can take place. How wrong i was to recommend this place to stay. The overall service is lacking. The reception staff need to remember that customers have a voice. I'm using it here on trip adviser. To the Grovenor management I would say "for goodness sake, what have you done" The red light district meets sleepy Hampshire village. NOT.

Beautiful hotel and very easy to locate. Booked via a third party and was greeted with a complimentary drink upon arrival. The room itself was spacious, light and well stocked with amenities. The area the hotel is located in is quite quiet and not much to do around but was great for a one night stay. The hotel food was lovely (had a burger and Chips) albeit costly. Would definitely recommend staying here.
