Interesting pub with money on the ceiling. First time I've seen belstaff trailmaster beer which was decent. Perfect when the weather is good

Nice character pub tucked out of the way near Hyde Park. Good range of ales. Not the easiest to find.

We got to our reservation 20 minutes late. They accommodated us by giving us a table 10 minutes later. The service was great, super friendly staff. The ambiance is great for both an evening drink at the energetic bar, or a typical English diner on the other more quiet side of the pub. Must try the scotch egg and sticky toffee pudding.

Unfortunately this 1-2 star rating is for staff rudeness that hopefully is not typical of the establishment. It seemed fine otherwise. We turned up for last orders on Friday night and were politely served our pints. Five minutes later (11:03pm) we were told by one member of staff that the pub was closed. She gave us plastic glasses to take away. We said we'd prefer to finish our pints, after which she paced around huffing and puffing and saying how she just wanted to go home. I do sympathise, after a hard day's work one might well feel tired, however customers should surely be treated with respect and giving people 10-15 minutes to drink their pints would not seem unreasonable. Hopefully this was a one-off and the member of staff had just had a bad day, of course we wish her well.

Lovely tiny pub and fantastic staff. Tables are a bit limited so I do not recommend for huge groups
