I called TGP for advice about an old octagonal greenhouse I’m erecting on my allotment. Even though they haven’t stocked it for many years, they took time out and emailed a very useful glazing template within minutes of my call. I’m not a paying customer so all that was in it for TGP was my goodwill and they now have plenty of that. Thank you Alex for being so incredibly helpful.

We have ordered our Hercules Blenheim greenhouse back in April. Our approximate delivery date was set to August-September which was absolutely fine by us as we were happy to wait for it with most of the growing season already gone by that time. Back in early June we were told that it will be delivered over 2 months earlier than anticipated. To cut long story short, we've had lots of parts missing, resulting in 5 separate deliveries for the missing parts. We've also had bad glazing delivered and we've had to wait few weeks for the correct glass to be delivered due to it being out of stock. When Greenhouse People sent over replacement glazing it was not packaged correctly resulting in 3 out of 4 panes completely smashed. It took another 1 week after that to deliver replacement glass. I understand that we all make mistakes but Greenhouse People should know better that when you are missing even smallest of components you cannot finish the build. Then you end up with parts scattered all over your garden which is less than ideal. Initially I have planned to finish the build in just over 3 days so I took few days off from work. At the end of the day I have wasted over 1 week of my holiday leave because of all the wrong/missing parts. I cannot really recommend this company in good faith as you will run into lots of issues. They are really expensive but the whole process does not really show what were my money spent on. Do not get me wrong, we are pleased with the end result but the journey that got us there was very stressful and given second chance I would have never bought again from Greenhouse People. I feel like I must give a shout out to Hannah who's Assistant Manager at Greenhouse People. She was absolutely great to deal with and helped us a lot throughout the process. I just wish we were put in touch with her a little bit earlier in the process.

Like many reviewers I cruised the internet trying to find a small quality greenhouse. I absolutely love my 2x4ft green coloured greenhouse! It wasn't cheap but you get what you pay for! The service we have received was excellent from Jill in the office, to the delivery man, to being able to ask tech questions when we struggled a bit with putting it up, plus being allowed to return some items locally to a showroom rather than messing around with postage! All in all a good experience and a quality product. Highly recommend!

Im really happy with the Alton Evolution 6 cedar lean to I bought from Greenhouse People. They managed to arrange delivery across the country within 8 days of me placing the order which is very good service! The structure is a solid cedar framework which is really strong. Despite this inside it feels very light and airy I think because of the high eaves and ridge heights. Also it has single panes of glass up to the eaves height so the it’s a clear view out. We also have a step down into it from the kitchen so that adds an extra few inches of height. I added two extra louvres to the 2 louvres and 2 roof openers that come as standard. My husband disagrees but now I wish I had added 2 extra roof openers at a lower height which I could open manually. My last cedar greenhouse lasted 25 years with not a jot of maintenance and this is a better one so I’m expecting 30 years plus! Overall I’m delighted with the service I got and with the lean-to itself.

We purchased a Alton Evolution 6 x 10 from the Greenhouse People (TGP) as we previously had a wooden Alton Greenhouse which regrettably, we had to leave at our previous house on moving. The TGP were always most helpful especially as we needed to rearrange the delivery twice as we were not at the time in a position to erect it. On installing the greenhouse, we unfortunately shattered one of the large panes, on contacting the office to purchase a replacement we were astounded to be offered a free replacement. We cannot recommend TGP enough they were always most helpful and accommodating at all times. and Alton Greenhouses are well built and a good investment.
