They don’t make to you an appointment. You have to do yourself. They don’t do anything.

New receptionists since it’s been taken over act like they get commission on the least appointments they can book in a day. They are rude and genuinely don’t have a clue what frontline customer service is. They cancelled my sons flu vaccine (he has long term asthma) , after a week of it being booked, but couldn’t tell me why. Kept changing the story. First it was the nhs said he isn’t eligible to have it done in the practice then she said my practice manager said to cancel it. When I asked for the practice managers name or head of complaints she said she couldn’t tell me. She explained I had to get the flu vaccine from the pharmacy. I rang the pharmacy and they laughed as pharmacies do not vaccinate children. So now I am left with my child with asthma who needs his annual flu vaccine and my GP refusing to do it (where he has it done every year) and the worst thing is they’re so rude and blasé to ‘their’ patients. Looking by the reviews it seems many feel the same since the new staff.

Great GP practice, Beyond the stern, moody, monotone, bossy and straight forward talking you may get from reception please don’t take offence to it their working quite hard behind that shield of glass and their actually really nice and they really do try to help where they can it’s a lot of work maintaining 1000 of medical records medical documents and doing a lot of work for all the Doctors and nurses at the surgery its not easy work I’ve done it and people don’t understand and it can be a extremely stressful all the request and demands they’re getting, it’s administration there’s a lot involved with it. I find it to be a pleasant surgery that’s always clean in the waiting area there’s some brilliant Doctors that actually care in there and are their professional and honest. When I call I get appointments booked it may not the the next day but your getting seen they are busy and they offer Physiotherapy. I find if you talk to them nicely and respectfully they sometimes smile 😊 I like them 10/10. Their Doctors not magicians and they do their best to help. But that’s just my opinion I’m keeping it real. x

Ever since its been taken over you cannot get an appointment within a week. Even after being on hold for 25 mins from the moment they open I then have to wait a week for an appointment even though I'm in pain. And even then it's a phone call. Ridiculous. No wonder so many people go straight to a&e.
