Went for Sunday lunch today. Recommended by friends. Really disappointed. We waited over ¾ hour for meals to arrive. I had beef Sunday Roast. I expected the beef to be correctly cooked, i.e. with some pink or red meat. What I was served was cold slices of well-done meat on a barely warm plate. It didn't look like it had been carved in the kitchen, more like pre-packed slices. We were only asked how our food was when collecting the plates. We won't be rushing back.

A lovely pub, had a very nice Sunday roast with a good bottle of malbec. The two ladies were friendly but on a couple of occasions had to be reminded of things we requested. Unfortunately when you book a £10 deposit per person is required but instead of this being taken off your final bill you have to pay the bill and wait for your deposit to be refunded back to your account. In my friends case it hadn't been done so had to phone, was refunded after 5 days of visiting.

The pub was clean. I only had a cappuccino. It was quite busy during lunch time. But the staff was efficient and I didn't have to wait long time to be served.
