The accommodation is cheap for a reason...although, there are signs of an interior refurbishment and shorter queues to check in. However, this is one of the most noteworthy buildings in Northern England and well worth a detour. They play nightly bingo too (non residents and dogs welcome).

Very nice Hotel but has gone a bit expensive. Room was facing a brick wall when I asked reception to be moved she said its £10 per night extra. Breakfast £12.50 each. Evening meal £17.50. Each.but from eating out we found everywhere gone up.There is entertainment at night and its central for beach etc so would go again. They give you a reward card when buying drinks etc get one point every pound spent. Very handy.
