I only had a short phone consultation as I’m looking for a trainer to help teach fetch and calm barking at the door. During the call Sarah told about her methods used including negative training, punishment, physical pressure, the use of prong collars and e-collars, and I was given a description of the difference between punishment and abuse. The whole conversation made me hugely uncomfortable and I will be finding a trainer that uses positive training methods as I want my dog to feel safe and I do not want it harmed. Then she had my first review removed.

Sarah is fantastic, I really recommend a session with her! Before our session my dog was highly anxious, naughty with the postman barking too much all the time, and did not want to speak with other people or let them touch her. The session was great. I came away with so many great insights about all aspects of dog care - from diet, how to walk, playing times and how I should interact with my dog. Sarah sent me so many great resources afterwards and answers any questions I have super quickly months after our session. I noticed a huge difference in myself and my confidence as a dog owner and I noticed how much happier my anxious dog is, what her triggers are so I can avoid them and she does not do her naughtiest behaviours anymore. Really great results, very happy and I've recommended Sarah to many other dog owners for a huge range of dog issues! :)

We've had recourse to several dog behaviourists over the years and Sarah is the best by a country mile. We'd been having problems with our rescue dog, Harry, who was fine with us but barking and sometimes aggressive towards visitors. His recall was also terrible! He would bolt off to go scavenging or hunt squirrels and not return. Sarah gave us all sorts of strategies for dealing with these various problems and reassured us that Harry was essentially a sweet-natured dog. The difference in his behaviour has been amazing since her visit. He is now much calmer around visitors and much happier in himself generally. Sarah provided us with a detailed follow-up report and written advice for his particular issues, and is available to answer any queries we have going forward. She's also a very pleasant and friendly person who's nice to have around, as opposed to some of the trainers who've visited us! I would recommend her 100% and only wish we'd found her sooner. My dog was having some bad habits as pulling a lot, barking at other dogs all the time, chasing foxes, listening to us when she wants. After We met Sara our life totally changed Dog is listening now, heeling next to us without pulling, even we managed to train her to heel off leash and a lot more. Now my dog can stay around other dogs without doing any noise. We can go to dog friendly restaurants without being worried about the noise or the mess. The best that Sara trained me and my wife how to deal with our girl and control her very well, and that’s the best results ever. I tried in the past couple of different trainings and seriously training with Sara I got the best results I could ever dream off , Enough I can have a nice walk and run daily with my dog next to my side peacefully and listening to me and following my orders. I came to Sarah for a behavioural consultation for my dog Teddy and have to say her help has been life changing both for Teddy and myself. I am so grateful for her and the results she achieved with Teddy from just one consultation and would highly recommend her especially to anyone who is dealing with a dog with behavioural issues. Sarahs methods were clear and not complicated to follow and she was very knowledgeable and explained the rationale behind her methods. She has also been very supportive following the session answering my questions. I had rehomed Teddy about a year ago and had been struggling with his barking, Teddy was barking aggressively at guests and would bark when left in a room by himself and it was becoming very challenging and stressful. Previously I had tried other trainers and doing lots of enrichment/ positive reinforcement training and none of it was really helping significantly, except I spent a lot of money buying calming supplements, snuffle mats, lick mats, baby gates etc - another reason why Sarahs methods were so great they don't require buying things. As a dog owner it can be quite confusing on which training methods are best to choose, if only I had found Sarah earlier it would have saved me a lot of stress! Since our session, Teddy has been like a whole new dog he seems happier, calmer and has responded so well to training and is listening to me and since the session I have had visitors round he has been so good and been able to answer the doorbell with him waiting calmly. He has also improved outside the house too and now walks by my side. Now I want guests to come round just to see how well behaved he is!

Sarah is amazing. I got my pup in lockdown times and was asking for advise on local groups about socialising. She got in touch with me about few concepts that I misunderstood (like socialising in general). We ended up staying on the call for more than 30mins and she gave me more advise than I can possibly ask for, even before we become one of her students. It was clear to me that she is eager to help dog owners - probably to a level that would damage her business. So I started 1-1 classes with her. She has been very professional through out the session we have, and kept being extremely responsive and helpful 24/7. Even now months after our sessions are over, she is replying my messages that I send in panic (pup not eating, pup got diarrhoea, pup teething etc.) extremely promptly and it's really reassuring to know that me and my pup has a forever friend who is willing to help all the time.
