This firm fitted a logburner for me a little under a year ago. I have just received return of my sweep fee and the cost of cleaning my lounge carpet given soot deposits from a sweep. The carpet had been laid for 6 days. It was a velvet wool and cost £1500. The stove door had not been opened since the Spring when the stove was last used. They denied that they caused the damage. My insurance company said because of the cost of replacement that my legal insurance would not pursue. I was advised by the carpet company that to clean such a new carpet was not recommended. The marks are almost invisible now but the carpet will never be the same again. It is now 2 months old! The fact that they denied it and did not have sufficient covering protection before carrying out the sweep was clearly negligent. I could only raise a small claims action at my cost to have replaced the carpet which would have been costly. If you use this company make sure they take the appropriate steps to protect your property before carrying out any work. For me I cannot use them again given their complete lack of integrity having called them immediately after they left to complain. Their director arrived and inspected and took pictures and didn't even apologise. No doubt advised by lawyers never to do so to avoid any acceptance of liability. That for me given the circimstances is unacceptable, lacks integrity and frankly unprofessional. Use at your peril.

Visited show room on a Saturday and Gavin gave great impartial advice on stoves and installation. We confirmed an order 2 days after our visit and accepted the wait time of circa Dec for an install. Amazingly got a call on Friday for a cancellation opportunity following day. Stove is 1st class and guys who did install including a replacement chimney liner were excellent. Very happy customer

We were guided to the most suitable stove for our home.On the day on the fitting our fitters John and Nico prepared the area well and protected all surfaces and furniture.
