Staying at The Gin Lounge was a great experience! The staff were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable and at home. The bedroom was warm when I arrived, impeccably clean, very spacious and carefully decorated in Edwardian style with great attention to detail. The bed was huge and very comfy and the view from the window very nice. I definitely recommend!

Nice decor and good range of gin but such terrible service I won’t be returning, even though I live round the corner. Myself and a group of girlfriends went for a drink, we were by no means rowdy, we were just having a nice time taking a few photos, to be honest we were creating an atmosphere which the bar was severely lacking! We were chatting to the other customers in the bar who seemed very bored until we arrived! We were asked to ‘keep it down’ by the extremely rude bar staff which was totally ridiculous, made us all feel very uncomfortable, angry and quite upset because up until that point we had been having a nice evening. We left and went across the road to have a drink at the Ticket Office who were extremely welcoming, friendly and great service! Don’t go to the Gin Bar if you want to have fun!
