I have been seeing Phil over the last few months to help with bereavement. He has been brilliant throughout and I can safely say I am recovering far better thanks to his support. Very easy to talk to. I never felt hurried or rushed. I would highly recommend him.

Phil is an incredible trauma therapist. I reached out to him after a severe trauma where my father took his own life. He helped me work through the trauma with various internationally recognised therapies, and equipped me with tools which I still use on a daily basis. Together, we undertook a clinical diagnosis, which resulted in a diagnosis of PTSD. We worked together on treating that disorder, and then on subsequent personal issues. His levels of empathy are off the scale. I don’t say this lightly, but I don’t think I could have got through the last few years without him. As a result, I now feel I am a stronger human being, and am well equipped to live my best life.

Brilliant service by a professional but also an extremely genuine guy. Doesn’t charge for more than is needed. Doesn’t want to offer more sessions than required. Just a no nonsense approach to getting you back on track. Thanks.

16 months ago I lost my husband to suicide. It was the most difficult time of my life and the trauma of finding him had left me with daily flashbacks of the horror. My daughters were 21 and 24 years old at the time and it obviously hit them hard too especially as their Dad was an amazing soul and his mental health had spiralled too quickly over just 6 weeks until he took his own life. Although I was a mess I tried to focus on supporting them and that meant that I needed help. After trying to get help through my GP and being put on waiting lists for months I decided to find help myself. 5 months after my husbands death I found Phil Giles and I thank God That I did. I believe that Phil literally saved me and because of his work with me in turn has helped save my girls too. Phil was easy to work with from the beginning of my treatment and cured the PTSD that I was suffering after a few months. He continued to help me through the grief and enabled me to understand the process with compassion and consideration at every session. I will never be able to properly thank him because words are inadequate really but life is better now and I can look forward with positivity for me and my daughters again.

We can't recommend Phil enough for how he helped us during an incredibly turbulent and devastating time of our lives. Phil was an anchor in the storm, his approach was gentle yet knowledgeable and he was not only supportive of my husband who was subsequently diagnosed with PTSD, but of the whole family too. Phil understands the huge impact of PTSD and it's ripple effect. He was able to address the mental, emotional and physical aspects with a high standard of treatment, but was also there for family members directly affected. We highly recommend Phil, we honestly couldn't have got through things and out the other side without him.
