My fiance and I have just had the most amazing time staying in this beautiful townhouse. We felt very welcomed, looked after and well-fed too! Robert and Jane certainly gave this property their hearts and soul and their warm, unique personality. And of course, the pancake cafe downstairs is a little gem and should be considered to be put on the list of must-visit cafes in Durham :) We cannot wait to be back! Dave and Jadzia

Excellent service and the owners couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. Pancakes for breakfast was a bonus as they are so delicious - even created one to suit my dietary requirements. Huge thanks and I will be back! Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 … More

Just spent the weekend in Durham and spent a night at the Georgian Town House. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful or friendly. The two bedrooms we had were spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the Pancake Cafe next door. Would stay here again if we visit Durham.

Beautiful decor, elegant taste, run by a classy couple. Delicious breakfast too, with salmon and asparagus. Felt very spoilt.

A warm welcome, a lovely room, and a terrific breakfast. And all a few moments walk from the city centre.
