My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful Sunday roast at The George today and we cannot recommend this little gem enough. This inviting little gastro-pub is set in the idyllically picturesque village of Burpham which is a delightful little find in itself. The staff were warm, charming and attentive, making us feel welcome and like valued customers. The food was delicious - as were the top quality drinks - and suffice it to say, we polished off every tasty morsel. We have already decided that this pub is worth a return trip or two or three...We left happy, full and with every intention of returning.
