Turned up Tuesday and found out they were closed (despite Google saying they are open) website doesn't work, phone line doesn't work and then turned up Friday after speaking to a staff member there walking their dog saying to come back in the same week to find out the kitchen is closed. Other pubs in the area turned out to be accomodating in the end

We were looking for a pub on our way home. We stopped off at a few pubs but the menu's were either not suitable or didn't like their options. Finally we ended up here, and we were thankful it didn't work out at the other pubs because its beautiful here. The staff were amazing, funny, friendly and very accommodating especially when it came to the kids food. Also they are dog friendly which we thought is great, not that we had ours dogs with us. The garden is beautiful with a lovely view of the river. The food was lovely and hot with no complaints. We all said we'd love to go back. Vegetarian options: Had a lovely vegetarian burger, it came with salad which I popped in the burger.
