We booked this place for a lunch with friends who we hadn't seen for years. Very friendly and helpful staff from the minute we arrived. Great food. We had 4 Sunday roasts and a pizza and all were excellent. Roast beef was especially good being just pink with a good selection of vegetables. I had the crumble with custard for pudding which was also very good. Plenty of custard which is always a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

If possible I would give minus stars. No disabled toilet and no wheelchair access. I think they are still living in the dark ages.

Who ever appointed Evan really knows te feild and environment. Not only did the appoint a great manager but also a friend to the community. A landlord or gov. who actually cares about the environment, staff, customers and (as said) community. Disability friendly, needs friendly and compassionate regardless of the situation or occasion. The staff are all knowledgeable and compassionate also but that's whet good leadership builds. Every member is encouraged and celebrated by their strengths and Evan lets the community know who's success belongs to whom. That creates a family not just a job. It's like what bricket wood was, and needed again. Thank you!

Decided to go for a few drinks and food at The Gate. The bar staff were really friendly. They said that the inside tables were all booked but we were able to sit in until the booked guest arrived. Food menu gave a great selection. We ordered a sharing platter and it was perfect. Plenty enough for two people. We will be back as the breakfast/brunch menu looks good 👍
