Rooms: Usual choice single, double etc. All very comfortable. The rooms look from the outside like little flats some with balconies. Nearby activities: Hillsborough bars and food within 10 minute walk. Mcdonald and KFC included. Sheffield Wednesday FC ground with 20 minute walk. Casino, entertainment and grey hounds within 5 minute walk. Hillsborough Park 10 minutes away ideal for the Tramlines music festival. Safety: Good cameras are watched by reception, slways someone on reception as well. I travel solo and I feel safe. Walkability: Lots to do within 30 mins walk, food, drink, shopping, entertainment etc Food & drinks: The hotel restaurant menu is good and the food excellent. Noteworthy details: The staff remember you which I think is a lovely touch.

I stayed here in April 2022 while on a solo holiday. The owners did a great job keeping the historical feel of the building. Staff were kind, courteous, and welcoming. Although some small updates could be made to it, the room was well kept and the bed was comfortable. The grounds were beautifully kept, making the courtyard a lovely oasis even though the A61 is just over 70 metres away, as the crow flies. I would definitely stay here again.
