Great place. Visited twice during a 3 day visit. They sell draught Neck Oil! Fabulous!! I had a very pleasant and reasonably priced burger, with fries and salad.

Me a friend and my daughter visited the Gainsborough last night for dinner and drinks and all I can say is WOW!! Lovely atmosphere for a Tuesday evening, the bar staff were so lovely, and the food was delicious! Special thank you to both the girls behind the bar who went to special effort to cheer my daughter up with a teddy bear when she was upset after accidently knocking a drink over. I'd say one of the best pubs in sudbury, will definitely be returning soon 😀

I have had several lunch meals here and am never disappointed. The food is high quality with a varied menu. I would highly recommend this pub. They are always friendly and accommodating even when we brought our dog in to have a coffee and cake. Our dog got a free doggy biscuit! We love this little gem.
