Visted on 27th May sat in the garden which was lovely, good choice on the menu and the food was good. Just let down by the rude disinterested welcome at the bar and the waiting staff who just delivered our food in silence. We went in search of cutlery and condiments ourselves, such a shame. There was also a disagreement between a member of staff and a customer in the garden about where a car had been parked which was quite heated and very loud.

A disappointing visit to the restaurant. We visited with a friend(his first time) Mon 22 May at 1830, I had booked a table online. On arrival we were not warmly greeted. I said we have booked a table the person at the bar said no you haven’t, no hello or anything. I presume he was trying to be funny but it just came across rude and odd. We were left confused and had to ask are you serving food as he didn’t say anything? We eventually sat down and there were other instances of rudeness which I think he thought was sarcastically funny, it just wasn’t. When asked for condiments he would look annoyed and whilst I was still eating asked if I had finished with my meal and felt pressured to give up my plate. He ruined the evening and my friend who had never been before thought the service was very odd and poor. We won’t be coming again as the experience was not welcoming and it all just felt like he was enjoying being rude and sarcastic. Real Shame.
