    Met with a lovely practitioner called Rhiannon at The Functional Gut Clinic in Cambridge. After 6 years of struggling with gut issues Rhiannon suggested that she thought that I may have SIBO, which no one has ever tested me for. Test done and she was right, sure enough I tested positive. Just a lovely, empathetic lady who listened to my issues and did her upmost to help me. Thank you Rhiannon and the Functional Gut Clinic.

    If I could give a 0, I would. I have been referred to them by my haematologist, I am a cancer patient, I called them all day for two days to book my test, no one calls back and the reception that picks up doesn’t know anything. I will report to my consultant to refer me somewhere else.

    I was really worried about my procedure (Oesophageal Manometry and 24 Hour pH and Impendance) as I never had it before and read horrible reviews from other people who had it. I was reassured by Rhiannon that it is a safe, simple and painless procedure and it turned out to be exactly that! Rhiannon was vey friendly and professional and did the procedure quickly with confidence and communicated every step with me. The clinic was very clean and welcoming and the staff were friendly and professional, particularly Rhiannon. Had the tube removed the following day and was on my way. Thank you to everyone at this clinic!

    Highly professional and friendly staff. Well organised in terns of appointment arrangements and on arrival taken straight through. Room for improvement: more information ahead of time on the impact of the 24 hour Oesophageal monitor. If I'd realised how intrusive it was I'd have worn different clothes (ie button up the front rather than over the head) and it was lucky I was working from home and have a sedentary job as, otherwise, I'd have had to rearrange work.

This doctor sent me to The Functional Gut Clinic. After an incredibly technical examination, I was introduced to Ann Curry. She handled my case with pure empathy and skill. Within one session of therapy, my life finally returned to normal. If I did not visit this clinic I would have been referred to a dietician and put on the intense fodmap diet and prescribed many unnecessary medications. Thank you, Ann Curry and the clinic for your lifesaving treatment! I genuinely could not recommend it more!
