Receptionists are lovely and caring. Most GPs working here are very helpful and will try their best to get you what you need however there are a few GPs here who are quite rude, judgemental and standoffish.

I had a blood test in November, they told me that my cholesterol was a bit high and I have to re-do my blood test in 3 months, I did that in March and when I called for results the receptionist told me that they did not check the cholesterol level and I can email them to complain.

Found the receptionist wanting. She spoke over me the patient fresh out of hospital after a heart attack operation. She was rude and put the phone down. Did not help at all. Second receptionist was not thar better. Only imparted with half the information. None Of them did what was required of them. Arrange medication and followup care. Useless on the whole

This has to be the most frustrating experience ever and not for the first time being on HOLD trying to book an appointment with a nurse, which it tells you to call for, phone is NEVER answered...last time had to drive to the surgery to make an appointment face to face.. Still not answered...25 mins on hold 😡 And before the keyboard warriors start defending our broken NHS,this is a surgery problem not an NHS problem 😡😡😡

I've been part of this surgery for around a year; my repeat meds get approved in usually 24 hours, my econsult requests are responded to the same day or next day if its later, and I can get an appointment quite easily. My gp manages my conditions very well and listens to me, taking into account what I feel and think. Sometimes there's a wait on calls but I just call back later or wait. Lots of illnesses are still around so can't expect there to be no queue when calling. Everyone is super friendly, and I've always had a good experience here ☺️ thanks all!

Its currently 27 Dec Tuesday morning 8.20 and telephone answering service is telling me the surgery is closed. Website tells me its open from 8am and live tracker says ' not too busy' . I need urgent advice on my medication - please sort it out!

I am suffering with my mental health and this surgery couldn't care less. They do not listen and constantly palm me off to Italk as they do not have any relationship with this service. It's a glorified waiting list to 'get rid' of people who they refuse to help. My GP previously made no attempt to even ask how I was and was annoyed when I was upset and distraught, that I attempted to take an overdose but my partner stopped me. The surgery failed to offer any support after being referred for safeguarding a minimum of 7 times that I know of over the past 18months. The GP still refuses to listen to me and puts words in my mouth to downplay how I feel. She also lies and that is evident in her letter. A suicide attempt is just a cry for help and clearly not good enough for help. All the GPs can do is send referrals or offer medication. The GP referred me to the CMHT after meeting me for 20mins. She knew nothing about my struggle over the past 2+years and hardly spoke to me. She refused to listen to me and made all these assumptions which she sent to the CMHT. This is all the CMHT focused on and was more interested in the neighbours and the noise rather than my mental health or any assistant actually help me. I've tried italk, I've tried the Community Mental Health Team and now I'm being palmed off back to the wellbeing centre. Mental health is a facade, no one cares and there is absolutely no help at all. You just need to deal with it yourself but in the end there is only one solution. They offer a poor service to force you to move to another one and therein lies the problem - the damage is already done. This is the hardest thing to understand until we're because I can't get that time back and there is no help.
