We initially set up a meeting to taste the cakes and discuss what we wanted for our wedding. We loved the different range of flavours they had to offer. We ended up with have 2 tiers of cakes with different flavours. The design process of the cake was easy to do and enjoyed working wih the team to put it together. We wanted to have our silhoute included on the cake which the team were able to do for us. As the team had previosuly delivered to the sikh temple before it made the delivery of the cake easy to do. We cannot be happier with the how the cake looked and tasted on our wedding day. We recieved so many complimets and matched our theme perfectly. A massive thankyou to the whole team at the fruitcake factory :)

This business is owned by Karen Lawson. Boy does she know her stuff; I have now had 3 lessons with her and if I was a footballer it would be like playing with Lionel Messi. She shares her knowledge willingly and is a wonderful tutor. I am always very sad when the class ends and I have to return home.

Karen was an amazing teacher and was exceptionally patient with us as we are basically beginners! She knows her craft so well and is more than happy to help answer questions. The session ran over because we were chatting so much but she was not rushing us out which was so kind. We will definitely be back for another class with the Fruitcake Factory! I can not recommend The Fruitcake Factory highly enough. From start to finish the service we received was flawless, we initially visited the shop for a tasting (this was my husband's favourite wedding meeting!) Where we tried a selection of cakes. They were all lovely so it was a difficult choice! I also got a call a couple of weeks before the wedding to reassure me that everything was sorted, this made such a difference as by this point I was fairly stressed about the planning. The cake was delivered and set up at the requested time, the venue manager also commented on how lovely the ladies who delivered it were. The cake was exactly what I asked for and guests kept saying all evening how amazing the cake tasted. Thank you ladies, you took one stress completely out of my wedding planning. Mr and Mrs Gardner
