I hired the Floor Restoration Company to have the old squeaky victorian floor boards of my conversion flat repaired and refurbished. The originals were cracked, sagging and creaking with a strange orange type of lacker that had certainly lost its lustre over the years. After agreeing for the job to go ahead, Nigel and his team lived up to their promises. The works were completed with a high level of precision, professionalism, cleanliness and conscientiousness... And the outcome is just stunning. I had no idea my floors could look like this. The total works only took two days and everybody was always happy to work around my schedule, too (which really helped as I was living in the flat throughout this time). So all in all - great experience and outcome. Am super happy with my old 'new' victorian floorboards - would recommend! Service: Wood floor restoration

Nigel and his team carried out a first class renovation of our Holme Lacy Village Hall floor, it's original floor dating back to 1920 looked tired and tattered, we thought to be a total renewal until Nigel advised there was a lot of life left in the floor, it is better than new now after repairs and sanding, leaving us with a floor that looks great within the building of its age. Generally, our kitchen floor is much improved and we like it much better now. A few caveats, though. There was no offer to help move the furniture - surprising given the large cost. Some of the gunnels between the tiles have excess liquid - odd as we had been warned/shown how to avoid this when doing the test patches. Finally, the skirting boards are stained and will require a new paint job. Not very professional. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives but even so... Service: Floor refinishing

We were so impressed at all aspects of the job - they were neat and tidy, they helped move furniture, and generally went the extra mile with advice and assistance, and then the floors - oh my goodness, what an amazing transformation!!
