We were a group of 5 students of different nationalities studying at Heriot Watt University for 1 semester. We rented a flat that could accommodate all of us and Mr Crawford assisted us through the whole process. Any issues that arose during our tenancy (that were out of the agency's control) were handled very professionally and in a timely manner. Naturally, our main concern was the deposit, however there were no issues at the end. Therefore, for anyone moving to Edinburgh, I would definitely recommend The Flat Company.

We have spent 3 years living in a Flat Company property and have been very happy with their work. They are quick to respond to any issues we are having, particularly our new/current property manager Lauren Mill. They are always friendly and approachable, as are they contractors they employ, and are open to discussion and input from their tenants. In comparison to previous letting agents I have always felt the Flat Company were highly professional and invested in providing a good experience for their tenants.

I have really enjoyed my tenancy with The Flat Company thus far, and would say that I will be prioritizing flats through them in the future whenever I leave my current situation. Our property manager, Lauren, has always been very prompt and helpful with her responses, doing her best to relay information between ourselves and the landlord, or to keep us informed whenever there were any maintenance requests (few and far between). All in all, would wholly recommend them for their great service and professional attitudes.

Absolute shambles trying to book a viewing with them. Cancelled on me twice, second time without notifying me and after securing time off work. Booked for a third viewing the week after (done manually since they didn't get back to me with times despite advertising it online), again no answer and had to call to find out they had already given the flat away. No notification to save me wasting my time and taking more time off. If this is how you treat potential tenants, I feel bad for anyone stuck with you as their letting agency. Avoid.
