I am very pleased with my newly installed Woodburner from The Fire Place - the whole process was very smooth from getting the quote through to learning different methods on how to light my new Woodburner. There was a small production delay for installing the actual Woodburner but this gave me time to decide what to do with the newly created recess in my chimney breast and to get it painted up ahead of putting the Woodburner in so it actually worked out quite well that there was a gap. Am very happy, it completes my living room and makes me feel cosy and warm!

I contacted four local stove installers, but Andy and his team were so far above the rest in every respect. Others told me that nothing would fit the available space, but Andy suggested a Mendip Christon 550 inset and that's what we are now enjoying. George and a colleague came to install and after covering every possible step with sheeting, very efficiently carried out the work. In my view, if you need a stove, go to The Fire Place Chesham. They know the business inside out, have the correct knowledge, equipment, staff and will charge a fair amount too. So great to find such a company locally. Many Thanks for your hard work.

Recently had a log burner installed and we're absolutely delighted. Previously we had an occasional open fire and of course most of the heat went up the chimney. The team have been really helpful and professional from start to finish including showroom advice, quotation, installation through to instruction on how to use the stove efficiently. We're very impressed by the heat output from our stove. It has become the focal point of the room and even our pets love lying in front of it! There are no downsides. A lovely local family run business. We recommend 100%.

Everyone we dealt with were helpful and friendly and when it was fitted they kept the place clean, informed us as they went along and we are thrilled with it. So lovely to warm the place up. They did a first class job and we would heartily recommend them. We liked the personal touch!

This has been a world class experience from inception to completion. We'd decided we wanted a proper burner to replace the various devices we've had consuming wood in the fireplace over the years, and we wanted to support a local business. First we met Rebecca in the showroom, she was really helpful and engaged with what we were wanting to do, just delightful; then Andy came round promptly and did a survey. Before we knew it they'd had a cancellation, and our Peanut 3 was installed last Friday, a superbly professional, efficient and good-humoured performance by Wayne and Alex. They'd hardly left when George turned up to check that everything was perfect and to give us a tutorial on efficient wood burning. We ended up talking a lot! I'm grinning as I type this because it was just a great experience, I think service and personality like this is getting rarer, sadly, and we're massively grateful to all at the Fire Place for making it happen the way it did. Only giving them 5 stars because I can't do 6. Highly and heartily recommended.
