We had a gas fire installed approximately 2.5 years ago, and from installation there clearly was a problem. The cold draft blowing from under the fire was horrendous, convinced there was something missed during the fitting process, I then contacted the fire basket to come out and take a look. 2 weeks later, the original fitters came, very reluctant to do anything to help the problem even saying that this was normal, they then advised to leave the pilot light on permanently to generate some heat, I mean really!!!!? Recently during a routine fire service, the engineer advised that the draft was awful and something was obviously wrong, so he then kindly removed the slate side panels to reveal the true extent of the issue, there was absolutely no insulation used to seal off the cavity from inside the house. Now we have insulated the area properly and problem solved!! I wouldn’t recommend using this company as there is clearly no quality control over their works and will tell you just about anything to fob you off.

Staff on the phone were helpful. Visited in person a few days later, again helpful and knowledgeable staff. Called a few days later to confirm we wanted to go ahead with a gas burner, were told we'd get a call from the engineers to arrange a visit. Heard nothing for 10 days so I chased it up. They apologised, said they would get on to it. 3 weeks+ later still not heard back from them. I'll take my money elsewhere, they obviously don't need the business
