Took them 45 mins to ask if weโd ordered puddings. Which we had ordered 45 minutes previously. Horrendous service. The only reason this pub does so well is people see the donkeys and decide to stop. Genuinely donโt waste your time. Unless you have 6 hours to spare.

Lovely traditional pub in a fantastic location (right next to the New Forest). The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Not only do they have a broad range on the menu, but the food itself is very tasty and great value for money. They're also very dog friendly!

Service was s l o w! Many dishes labelled as vegetarian were available with chicken etc if you asked. They should be on the main menu. The goats' cheese risotto didn't quite work but my friend's chicken noodle dish was very nice.

Great food and atmosphere, lovely on a summers day. Would say that this best pub you'll find in the New Forest.

Decided to go here last night having been a few times a while ago and it always being reasonably priced and good food/sevice . We shouldn't have bothered. Felt unbelievable uncomfortable as soon as we walked in and like we were an issue for them to serve. The guy behind the bar/till needs some customer service training. To blame "gypsies" for drinking all of the disaranno on Tuesday night is quite honestly something I've never heard before so that was almost entertaining. They didn't have 2 drinks that are usually the most popular choice of tipples literally anywhere that sells alcohol. Food was poor, chips were as hard as rocks, the lady that brought the food to us asked if we were OK but was practically already walking away before we replied. We left hungry, thirsty and out of pocket. The pizzas are literally from Aldi or Asda. We won't ever go here again. Save your money and eat at home.

Lunch after pony trail. Found it rather disorganised and food took longer than anticipated. Had to ask for glasses for the water. Some of the food was great, mine was not ๐ and had to wait whilst my family eating theirs. My Kofte was overcooked and having waited so long in the first place did not want to make a fuss. Bearing in mind this is off peak, on a Wednesday 3pm in May sorry to say, not great guys ๐ need to step up...

What a great meal we had. Great service and the manager Mark was fabulous. Made you feel very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. Mark just made sure we had a great time from start to finish. What can I say he is a credit to the company. Will definitely be going back.
