What a great find. Traditional pub, but with a sophistication, both decorative, and in its menu! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an awesome menu, very reasonable priced wines, and a great atmosphere. Go here for a great evening.

Visited here last week for lunch. Staff were welcoming. My friend had sausage and mash, which was nice. Unfortunately I chose the fish and chips. Batter was hard, very little fish inside. For £19 it was not value for money. Having said that, it is a lovely little pub. And definitely worth another try. Maybe in the evening this time.

Nice pub on the edge of town down beside the end of the river Madina. Large internal eating area great choice of menu. Internally the style is what you would imagine an old converted Galleon war ship would be. In the winter months it's a little dark but atmosphere and charm make up for it. I've been many times and I have never had a bad meal quite the opposite. Bit of a lack of parking but a little walk is a public carpark. I highly recommend this delightful wooden floored establishment.
