Ok. We were welcomed extremely warmly when checking in. Our room was lovely. Breakfast options are pretty good. Full english, or just toast a couple of different cereals, juice, tea, and coffee. I asked for a hot vegetarian breakfast option even though it wasn't on the menu. The kitchen remade everything for me again to ensure it hadn't touched any of the meat options. Thank you. Not being a local, I wasn't sure of any of the beer you had on tap. A menu or a sign on the wall somewhere saying what beers and wines you have, pricing, a beer decription/taste and alcohol content would be really helpful. So Friday night there was a band and the place was packed we didn't stay the whole show but could still hear it in our room. Travelling all day, we did fall asleep. Saturday night was karaoke. This wound up about midnight. Sunday night was another band that was pretty decent. This wound up about 10pm. The pub itself is surrounded by restaurants or places to get takeaway. There is a sainsbury next door and a Tesco express a couple of minutes walk away. It's an easy walk to the church and the markets. It's a great central location.
