New in town and I've had to use their bar as an 'office'. This turned into me eating and drinking here. Amazing staff, and a really nice local, chatty vibe to the place. The food is a pub menu done well, with some great nibbles. Haven't seen it busy yet, so it's a nice place to work or chat.

Pros - Lovely building. Lots of parking. The people are really super nice and friendly. The service is really efficient and attentive. The menu and prices are good except the steak (it was small) and chips was a bit steep. The food looks and tastes good. Cons - Was seated in the "breakfast buffet" area where the tv was. There is a huge much nicer restaurant area behind the bar and tables in the bar so did not really understand why. The chairs and tables are really so ugly and out of character with the building very strange choice, hard and uncomfortable too.

We stayed for 4 night and loved the stay. Room was functional with good heating, very clean and big soft towels. Room was little outdated. The breakfast was great. Excellent selection & the staff were very attentive to dietary restriction I have. Lunch was great also. Very pet friendly... Doggie was allowed to the restaurant. Big + for me. Perfect little place to stay.
