I got Jen out after my mare developed some anxiety and reluctance to be caught. I’d seen Jen work with a friend’s horse as well as doing a fun groundwork clinic, and knew she was the best person for the job. Jen was amazing and so encouraging; right from our initial phone chat and then the incredible comprehensive bespoke plan she created for us I felt supported all the way. We solved the headcollar/catching issue in 2 sessions and this hasn’t been a problem since. My mare and I discovered a love of clicker training, and with Jen’s help we have also nailed standing still to be mounted, worming/syringes, calmly going through narrow gateways and standing still to be tacked up! Working with Jen has had huge positive ramifications across the relationship I have with my mare, and we are both more confident as a result. Thank you Jen!

Jen has helped no end with our horse Snow. Snow is very afraid of everything. We don't know her history but within half an hour Jen had got Snow to trust her so she could start touching her legs then moving on to lifting them. Jen's approach just works! Her care and love for horses is amazing and her knowledge is out of this world!!! We will be getting Jen out again when the husbands shoulder us fixed so we can continue to make progress with Snow! Jen, thank you for everything!!!

Jen is amazing, my confidence and knowledge have increased so much since starting sessions and both me and my horse are so much happier. I feel like I really understand my horses needs and how to communicate better now and every session we are learning more and more. Jen is so patient and understanding, I always feel very heard and never belittled for not knowing something or having a misconception. Jen explains things so well and always takes the time to ensure I understand. Her knowledge of horses is incredible and she is always available for advice on any aspect of horse care. I would highly recommend Jen for anyone looking to work better with their horse, be that on the ground, ridden, in the stable or in the field

Jen from the Equine Method is amazing!! My young pony had major trust issues and wouldn’t let anyone touch her beyond her neck, until working with Jen. She now enjoys a full body groom and cuddles, also has made huge progress on her groundwork! Looking forward to working with Jen over the next 18 months to take our ‘what was’ very nervous 2 year old to the child’s riding pony she is destined to be. Thank you Jen for helping and teaching Flo and I so much already 😊

Following a stay at a veterinary hospital my 17 yrs old mare developed a phobia of needles and strangers . She displayed alarming behaviour when stressed, spinning in stable, barging. She had never previously shown this kind of behaviour. After working with Jen, she has been vaccinated, and had dental treatment without any issues, or signs of stress. Time and money well spent. Thank you Jen.

I cannot recommend Jen enough, I got in touch with Jen to help my daughter and her new pony. We were experiencing problems with Holly my daughters pony to the point were my daughter didn’t want to even go to the stables anymore. She found no enjoyment with her pony and had become scared of her. Jen was so welcoming and put my daughter at ease straight away. She stripped everything back and went back to basics with my daughter and Holly. Jen’s knowledge and understanding is amazing , she has taught both myself and daughter so much and I cannot believe the difference in a few months with holly. She literally is like a different horse, and my daughter has fell back in love with riding. She absolutely loves her weekly lessons with Jen (to the point were she doesn’t even want me there 🤣) . I would highly recommend Jen to anyone, holly has gone from a pony that people were telling me to sell to a pony that my daughter is now hacking out alone and this is just within a few months. Jen is so approachable and kind and will explain things to my daughter who is only 11 in a way she can understand. I honestly cannot thank Jen enough , I would never use anyone else and I will continue to use Jen for Ava’s weekly lessons . It’s amazing watching them both grow every week, 5 stars isn’t enough xxx

Jennifer has an amazing way with horses. Her insight and knowledge has been invaluable and has allowed us to make so much more progress than I would have initially thought possible in such a short space of time. Only 3 sessions in and the change is phenomenal. All the techniques used are fully explained both as to why and how they are used; then you're left with the information and confidence you need to be able to keep making progress between sessions. There's still work to do and I'm excitedly looking forward to seeing what we can achieve.

Jen is absolutely fantastic and has a wealth of knowledge in regards to horse behaviour. I have really enjoyed my sessions with Jen because she has taught me some invaluable techniques to strengthen and develop the relationship between my horse and I. Her sessions are versatile and interesting with plenty of activities, guidance and support- I’ve learnt loads from her 😊 Most importantly, Jen has great compassion for what she does. She really does know her stuff with horses and her methods truly are equine based. Whatever you are looking for, even if it’s just to develop your relationship between you and your horse, Jen is definitely worth contacting for sure. Thank you Jen !

I cannot recommend Jen enough. Her empathy with both the horse and the owner is brilliant, she remains calm, even when you don’t feel calm and exudes a competency that is justified. Whether you want to understand your horse better or have something that you are trying to overcome, Jen will be able to assist. In my experience with my own horse, I am thrilled with the understanding that we share now and the progress that our partnership is making.
