Love the bed now it has arrived but it arrived right at the end of the possible window and the communication about when it was going to be delivered left something to be desired as I found the onus was on me to contact and ask for updates on multiple occasions. Would have liked more proactive communication with order updates.

I absolutely GIVE UP. Why oh why didn’t I read the reviews!! Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced- our mattress has been promised to be delivered on 3 occasions - they just aren’t getting back to me at this point! Almost a month of waiting at this stage when it came into their warehouse a few days after purchase. Every time you call, someone’s ‘on lunch’ just ‘popped out’ they’re so unprofessional and it’s absolutely infuriating being lied to over and over again!!!

Really disappointed at the lack of response from The English Bed Company. The bed collapsed after two and a half years (we are not overweight!!). We have therefore phoned and emailed (three times) The English Bed Company however have still not received a response after three weeks. Very disappointing customer service and considering our next options as consumers. The bed has a four year framework guarantee though getting to discuss this with anybody has proven impossible. It is literally just a metal plate that attaches the spine of the base to the main framework that has snapped and could really easily be replaced, if I could eventually speak with somebody. Very disappointed indeed.

Terrible experience, bed took much longer than expected and when it turned up they had sent a 6ft frame for a 5ft bed leaving us with nowhere to sleep as it was left half assembled. Was told it would be at least another week before it could be rectified. Ended up sending us the frame to put together ourselves (refunding the original £50 delivery and another £25 for the inconvenience...a pathetic gesture considering the cost of the bed). The frame turned up and the box was battered beyond belief and all the screws had fallen out and were missing. We had to go and buy our own screws....not that the company cared when we reported it. Terrible customer service, if you don't want a stressful experience then order elsewhere. The external delivery team were however lovely and the bed is gorgeous.

The bed was delivered later than originally estimated and took a bit of chasing to get a confirmed date. However the bed itself is great, the delivery team were really good. There was a small mark on the bed when delivered but they arranged for this to be cleaned really quickly and mark has completely gone.

I wish i have read the reviews before placing an order, Customer service is extremely appalling. We placed an order end of Jan for 8 weeks estimated delivery and we are yet to receive our bed. There is no communication from them so far to keep up updated/in the loop to advise the progress/reason for delay. When we call only response we get it a generic one to say it is in the process. Yesterday they finally said production is done and now waiting for delivery company to pick up and which again cannot be fast tracked instead will take another 2-3 weeks. Absolutely rubbish service what so ever.! On top, the customer service from Sales Manager Kim is beyond imagination.!! Never ever again.!
