We planned our wedding in three months from the engagement but honestly even if we had longer, we wouldn't have found anywhere better than The Engine shed for our reception. The first and most important stroke of luck was that it was available on the date we wanted. Even from the first time we met Lee and is team we were completely put at ease. Lee spent a good time getting to know the both of us and our expectation for the party we envisioned. Dave the head chef then spent time with us going through our food choices and was very open and accomodating to our off menu requests . Lee made it so easy for us and helped us save on things we would've otherwise spent precious money on such as a post box for cards, an easel for the wedding welcome sign, projector for a presentation, table linen, cake knife and even decoration! Although these appear as small things, anyone who has planned a wedding will know how much time and energy is spent on organising even things like this. Right from the first meeting we had the feeling of trust and that of being taken care of. All our guests appreciated every aspect of the venue and how everything was arranged. The bar staff especially recieved compliments from the guests for being super friendly. We can't thank the entire team at Engine shed enough, we had the best time and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Mr & Mrs Lightowler-Kotha :)
