Good food, but I would not call it authentic, its more Anglicised. Fairly good service. I found the pub 'lonely'.

The Emmbrook Inn Authentic Thai Cuisine is a hidden gem in Wokingham that should not be missed by anyone who loves Thai food. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a friendly atmosphere. The decor is simple yet inviting and comfortable, the pub offers a wide of drinks. To start, we ordered the duck spring rolls and chicken satay, both of which were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The duck spring rolls were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the chicken satay was juicy and had a delightful smoky flavor, with plenty of sauce. For our main courses, we tried the slow-cooked lamb shank massaman curry and chicken phad Thai. The lamb shank was incredibly tender and fell off the bone, while the massaman curry sauce was rich and creamy with just the right amount of spice. The chicken phad Thai was equally delicious, with a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and savory flavors. The Emmbrook Inn is a great local pub that serves up some of the best Thai food in town. The service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable. If you're looking for authentic Thai cuisine in a relaxed and welcoming environment, then The Emmbrook Inn is definitely worth a visit.

Working nearby, just needed somewhere to sleep and eat. I was surprised to find a Thai menu in the pub but they did serve English food too. The food was really nice, I had Thai. Reasonably sized car park, I could get my van in but it was a bit tight. I stayed in a 'deluxe king' room, it was clean, a little tired but what do you expect for the price. I'd stay here again 👍

Stayed in room 12, on first floor. Negatives: The TV made an annoying noise when on. Hook on bathroom door very loose. If I was staying for two days I would have informed the hotel. Overall a great stay. Would stay again. Rooms : 4/5 | Service : 4/5 | Location : 4/5 Hotel highlights Quiet … More
