My family and I had a pleasant meal here. It was however quite frustrating the amount of items that were not available just as dinner service was getting underway. I that supply issues are common place these days but surely these basic ingredients can be sourced locally to offer a complete menu. Other than that a very nice restaurant. Clean, good food and reasonably priced.

Drove from Farnborough to get here only to be told cash less. What!! I had no cards on me. I won’t be coming here again. Go to another pub until they change. Noteworthy details: Very poor show. We have spent a lot of money here in the past.

Stayed at The Ely for a couple of nights. Staff in the hotel were friendly, polite and chatty. Rooms where clean, comfy and well maintained. Beds made when we arrived back with fresh towels. (Even my little ones blanket was folded in her travel cot which I thought was very sweet.) Had a meal in the pub on Friday that was really nice and our waitress Millie is a credit to your team! Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was polite, friendly and had a laugh with us. I would stay again. It would of been 5 star's however unfortunately a member of staff did let it down as found them rather rude and we felt like a complete inconvenience as soon as we walked in so we walked out and when elsewhere.

Food & drinks: One of the few times I have left a restaurant hungry. Drinks were fine however did get a pint of lager which contained bits of orange juice from the previous drink I would guess. Not sure I would go back. Also had some guy in the restaurant have a fit of rage at something which made everyone on edge and perhaps caused us to be forgotten as it left the waitress to become flustered
