The advice provided by the team in the Shirley/Birmingham shop resulted in us buying what proved to be the ideal choice of bike for our non-standard requirements. Internet research would not have achieved this. It was after bike ridden away and our money in their bank that the team went well beyond the call of duty to help us with a situation caused by a puncture, and then provided us with thorough technical training related to our particular use of the bike. Now that EBS is the only substantial ebike retailer in reach of Birmingham city centre (I live in Handsworth), I'm pleased and relieved they are so good. I'm 80 and switched to electric recently as challenges in parts of the country were becoming more like ordeals. My Cube 500 step through eats hills alive - it's a bit of a 'monster'. I take it on trains and have enjoyed the ascents and tracks of the Forest of Dean with my dog Pip who travels in the 'boot' - as also on the main and back roads and lesser hills of Birmingham. EBS sold it to me and have since maintained and performed various small repairs with efficiency and good will. I plan to pass on the ebike I have now to my daughter and buy myself a less powerful one in a few months and will use the friendly staff on the EBS network to explore my options.

Rude customer service, literally rang up for a chat about electric bikes, with a couple of grand to spend. To be met by a rude woman who was not helpful in the slightest, and her only suggestion was to come into the store. Was spoken to with attitude and made to feel stupid. Would have genuinely bought a bike from them today with a little help and guidance, but non offered at all - just attitude. Nah - AVOID

A massive thankyou to Paul the General Manager and his staff at the Birmingham shop. I purchased my first electric bike and delt with Will and Niki, nothing was too much trouble and I found the whole team very knowledable, friendly and very customer focused. Will talked me through all my options and all the features and benefits of the bikes I was interested in. The whole experience was great and their aftersales backup including the free service at 175 miles is second to none! You guys have won me over with your professionalism, keep up the good work 👏 I would not go anywhere else now. Thanks again guys, one very happy customer 😊
