I recently attended Ali's beginners sewing workshop and can highly recommend it. I am no longer afraid of my sewing machine! Ali is really friendly and patient, she explains everything well. She provides more tea and biccies than you can shake a stick at and I came away with a beautiful, sturdy tote bag. I definitely plan to go to another of her courses in the future, dressmaking and botanical embroidery are next on my list...

I took a one day beginner's sewing class with Ali and it was a lot of fun - enough time to cover how the machine works, practising basic sewing techniques, learn about different materials, and leaving with a completed tote bag. I'm now halfway through her skirt-making course. Ali is a great teacher and her studio has a welcoming atmophere. I highly recommend!
