Fabulous food, but disappointed with customer service. Four of us dined on Friday evening, it being the first visit for two of us. We were shown to our table, and we ordered drinks. Unfortunately, when the drinks were served, the waitress spilled a gin all over my dress and table cloth. The young girl obviously didn't know what to do, saying sorry and leaving me to it. I used 2 napkins in an attempt to dry off , having to ask for 2 new ones, and being left with a wet tablecloth and dress for the rest of the meal. We did mention this to the manager and her attempt to rectify this was to knock the gin off our bill. Disappointing to say the least. The food, and the rest of the table service was good, but I do feel this incident could have been handled better.

Visited the Dunkirk today for the first time in 30 odd years, there was a decent selection of beers which appeared well kept. This pub was my dads local pub when he lived in denby dale all that time ago and the Dunkirk glass that they gave me will be a perfect addition to his 75th birthday present.

Just been to The Dunkirk with my wife for the first time. I can honestly say the food was exceptional and all of the staff were very friendly provided a 1st class service will definitely be visiting again soon and would highly recommend 😁😁😁

Can't really say much about this. Apart from this, it was possibly the best beer dinner I have ever had. The whole experience was 10 stars. Twenty-eight pound for two courses or thirty-three pounds for three courses. It sounds a lot but honestly worth every penny. Would have taken pictures, but the phone died. Will definitely return and take pictures next time. 10 star rating for whole experience.
