Sass has a wonderful combination of patience, enthusiasm and a gift for making the complex simple. I learnt more in three lessons then I did in the year before I started lessons with him. Thank you!

Sass Hoory has started giving my 8-year old son lessons since the beginning of the lockdown back in March this year. The first one or two lessons were in Sass studio then we moved to online zoom teaching since. My son has made great progress since his introduction to drums and will continue to do so! Highly recommended teacher!

If you need a teacher (and not just someone who can play drums) to *teach* you stuff Sass is your man. He has a very systematic approach to his lessons which really makes a difference. And you'll get things to practice at home that will keep you busy between lessons. Definitely 5/5.

Sass is a fantastic teacher. He's super patient and moves at your pace yet the lessons are very structured so you progress quickly. He helps you to read and write music from the very beginning and come up with your own rhythms. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Best drum teacher I've ever had! Lessons are so much fun - really well-structured and Sass plays lots of instruments, so you get to jam and learn about different styles of music. Sass knows when to push your limits and how get you to be really creative with the skills you've acquired. He's fun, patient and serious all at once. I've made more progress than I ever thought was possible. This is definitely one of the highlights of my week!

I have been going to drum lessons with Sass for about 5 years. Sass is keen to understand what you are interested in playing and will tailor lessons accordingly. My lessons are a mix of technical work, ear-training, playing various new rhythms or covers, and improvisation. I have covered a wide range of styles including rock, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, reggae, blues, jazz and jungle/drum & bass. The studio room is well-equipped with a top-of-the-range V-drum kit and an acoustic kit. My playing has progressed a lot and I enjoy all aspects of the lessons.
