Helen was amazing! Over the past 3 years I've have a handful of physios, all for one reason or another were no good so I ended up leaving them. After just 4 visits to Helen I've already made more progress than I've ever seen. 100% recommended, really good service!

The nurse on duty on the day I was discharged was not very informative and was very flipent when letting me know about care once I was home. She didn't really go through as much as I was hoping she would, for instance no information was given regarding when or if I need to change my dressings, I was just given spares. Told that if I start to bleed or I have concerns then to call the ward or go to a local A&E. More aftercare information would be better. Other than that, the service provided was fantastic.

The consultant and anaesthetist were brilliant. I was very well looked after. I’m sure that the building work being carried out on the ward was the reason that I felt as if I had been forgotten but the staff overall were brilliant. I was left with no access to my call button while still attached to a drip/drip stand with other equipment in my way. I struggled to make my way up the bathroom as I’d had hand surgery. I was promised tea and biscuits but waited about an hour or so and had to ask again. I’m convinced it was due to the building work that had disrupted the usual excellent routine. If I was slightly miffed with anyone then I apologise.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff of the Heritage Ward who looked after me following my hip replacement surgery. I would like to thank in particular Lily (physio therapist) who was excellent in taking me through my post op physio plan. A big shoutout to you all, thank you.

I had an assessment booked via a service through work, I called before my appointment and was told by the receptionist that they had the information they needed so I made the 1 hour round journey to the hospital, the doctor was running late (apparently this is normal for him) and I had to wait for almost 2 hours to be seen which flustered me a lot as I did not have anybody to cover me at work for the extended period I was away. I got into the appointment only to be sent away as I didn’t have the correct referral. As a result I wasted fuel, parking costs (as the car park was full) and had a lot of backlog at work to deal with thanks to the long waiting time. I obtained the correct referral information and made another appointment, this time I had to wait an extra hour as (of course!) doctor was running late, the assessment was questionable as the doctor disregarded my NHS doctors suspicion of what I have straight away before he even assessed me, the assessment itself seemed very brief and my concerns and years of pain seemed to be shrugged off rather than taken seriously, what I was told I have is actually a symptom rather than a condition itself so I still have no idea what is wrong with me. I wouldn’t use this service again but I think some constructive feedback and general courtesy would be to call patients and inform them if a doctor is running late prior to their appointment.
