We had a lovely stopover here. Very friendly helpful staff. Bright airy room that was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and large bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Bar area is very welcoming and food is freshly prepared. We felt the burgers were slightly overpriced at £17 for a cheeseburger but the quality was good. Very nice breakfast with good quality products. We would have liked larger cups in our room as they were not big enough for tea.

The Dove is run by a lovely family who understand how to run an Inn. Very friendly service, with a homely atmosphere, with a sunny and well appointed garden with nice seating and tables, and some cover. The food is home cooked, with a Polish slant, and is good value. Pizzas are great, and the ales are always local and kept very well. A selection of Polish lagers in bottles, and specials, like local gins and Japanese whiskey. The vodka bar is nice too. Right next to Micheldever station. Cycle friendly. Try it!
