I don't often write reviews but this one deserves it. A real hidden gem. I stopped in out of curiosity whilst visiting my family who live locally. They didn't have any rabbit at the time which I was after but the owner gave me a rough estimate of when they'd have some and gave me their contact info to check in advance as i dont live local. Ended up leaving with a couple of wild boar burgers which were phenomenal. All round lovely atmosphere and environment with adjoining farm shop and cafe.

Been coming here on and off for three years. Can't beat them for game; in-season meats always in stock (though best to call in advance) - squirrel is a particular favourite! Boar, venison, pheasant, partridge, rabbit, pigeon... Perfect for your game pie or terrine, or for a good family roast!
