My lab Izzy has a mind of her own and even when she won’t do as I ask Pippa always finds something positive to boost my confidence. We love the classes so much we do as many as we can. After searching for a local dog trainer and lots of research we settled on pippas Pooches. What a brilliant decision. Friendly, informative, supportive and most important a brilliant trainer. Helped us understand our puppy loki in ways google and youtube just don't cover at all. We have a well rounded puppy now with a full grasp of all basic commands, a excellent off lead recall. A family who understand his needs and how his brain works in great depth. We will be booking for future group training courses with no hesitation

Georgie (our new sprocker) and I had 4 1-1s with Pippa. The sessions were so incredibly helpful and confidence boosting. Georgie has learnt recall to 3 different cues, she’s learnt emergency stop and wait too. Pippa was so supportive when we were struggling with sleeping and toileting issues, answering my despairing texts in the evening and checking-in the next day. Georgie loved her and I feel so much more confident when we go out on walks or are just at home. I cannot recommend Pippa highly enough.

Thank you so much to Pippa for helping us with getting our old dog Lexi to sleep on her own bed at night for the first time - something we were convinced was impossible! Having got Lexi as an 8 year old rescue who clearly was used to sleeping on beds in her previous home, we have struggled ever since to get her to sleep on her own bed, and her anxiety and loss of sight/hearing made any attempts at training additionally complex. We called on Pippa following a recommendation. She spent lots of time monitoring Lexi's behaviour and asking lots of questions to understand her needs. I also appreciated Pippa's honesty with regards to what could realistically be achieved in both the short and long term given Lexi's age/needs. Pippa offered several options to try, all of which were centred around causing Lexi the least amount of distress and positive reinforcement. She gave us several tools to try so we were well equipped to address any resistance from Lexi (which inevitably occurred for 3-4 nights) but were thrilled to start enjoying stress-free nights of uninterrupted sleep within a week. We can't thank you enough Pippa!

Pippa has recently done a training session with our reactive Dachshund Buddy. Pippa helped us practice so many techniques that we just wouldn’t of been able to be on the road to improve without her help! These include practicing recall, teaching him to focus in situations he struggles in and rewarding Buddy for not shouting at strangers🙈 Pippa is a huge help for all of us and we highly recommend to anyone and everyone with their training needs❤️
