Quite simply the best record shop in Birmingham possibly the world !!! Fantastic selection of a wide range of styles of music. Lee the owner will always take time to chat and make you feel welcome, Liam is a fountain of knowledge what he doesn't know about music simply isn't worth knowing & Peter will always put the kettle on. Not only a shop but an truly pleasurable experience would highly recommend keep up the good work lads

The owner of this shop will regularly talk openly about his far right views, how there’s not enough white people left in Ireland anymore, that trans people are mentally ill, and other distressing points of view that I assume many in Birmingham would find very worrying. In the space of six months I came in twice on a quiet week day, when I wa some of two customers, and both times he was leaning over the counter talking about this stuff with the other customer. I had hoped I had somehow misunderstood the situation but on the second visit I realised that this was sadly just what the diskery stood for, in a very public sense no less. I wouldn’t support this shop financially if I were you. I wrote a lengthy and honest review a few months ago now but it seems to be getting taken down. Hence the short but sweet repost.

Had an hour to kill before my train home so thought I'd get down to this place to see if it had anything to offer. A real old style second hand record shop, shelves and racks filled with various genres and at decent prices too. Came out with a couple of bargains! Loved the feel of it, friendly staff and one of those trademark dusty basements that used to be so much fun digging through before online selling became the popular option.
