This hotel feom our experience is really only a 5 star in terms of it's location. The room we had was very shabby for a 5*, shower door not fitted properly resulting in a flooded floor, scuffed walls, tea/coffee set up for one, pictures wonky, glass backing cracked, no water in the room, toilet wouldn't flush properly, staff very lapse. Would not re visit.

I really cannot understand why some people only give one or 2 stars. The hotel is really great, perfectly situated, good price offer ratio, all is very clean, all the lifts worked, stuff is really friendly with only 2 ecxpeptions, children are welcome, wonderful entrance hall, breakfast was also rich, only to many people at the same time. For sure we will come back soon. Room was clean, quiet. In my opionon there is no better hotel with this price offer ratio in London all was perfect

1 star at best. I've stayed at Premier Inns that are better. Don't fall for the pictures on the website, the only picture which actually looks correct is that of the reception. Clearly all their money and cleaning supplies went into this area alone. The hotel is dirty. There are stains on the walls, you can literally see dirt and fingerprints (yes dirty fingerprints) on the doors. The bathroom is so disgusting, everything looks grubby, I had to wipe everything down with anti-bacterial wipes twice. Horrible odour in the hallway and lifts. Useless and unconcerned staff. This is not a 5* hotel, just a hotel that happens to be in the centre of London. You're better off finding a Premier Inn to stay at, for less money, better customer service and a safer and cleaner environment. One plug in the room behind the bedside cabinet and lamp - whose brilliant idea was that? The room was ridiculously hot, even turning on the 'aircon' was fruitless. It should be a crime for The Dilly to advertise themselves as 5*, when it's far from the truth. Complete lies!
